Ready for 2020 A Decade after Bomb Drop
#112: September 10, 2021, 02:45:31 PM
Hello All,

It has been a very busy time as we have started a new school year with in person instruction. So far in the past five weeks, we have had three total Covid cases  with three scholars and no staff. But the threat of covid is very real and it puts an additional stress on everything we try to do as a school. However, I am really happy to be back at the site and working with teachers and children again.

My marriage is going well and we are practicing a new way to resolve conflicts. It is based upon two roles, the speaker and the listener. Each part only has one page and while it appears simple, it is a very difficult process. I think the deepest part of it is seeing how certain minor things deeply affect my wife. One thing, I am working on is to give her the time and really listen to what she is saying, asking clarifying questions, and being able to show her empathy. This helps build a powerful connection between both of us.

Otherwise, besides being busy as all can get out, I am really enjoying my life and activities. This week, I  hit a new personal record when I benched three sets of six with 60 lb dumbbells. Tonight, I am going to watch Hamilton with my wife and enjoy a nice weekend together.

The more you focus on you and how to find bliss in your life, to heal from the trauma, the better place you will find yourself.

Hugs to all and have a great weekend,

((((Ready))))

Bless all of you trying to navigate this new school year. It has been a bumpy start here with S.  My heart just aches for all of you just wishing for a normal school year after all this time.

Glad to hear you are bringing the joy everyday. Carry on!!
