Forum-Info How do I start a thread?
OP: June 17, 2011, 06:48:48 AM
How to Start a Thread
From the main page go to the community board. If you are a subscriber you can go to the Public or Private community board.

At the community board there will be a series of buttons on the left side just above the list of threads. Choose the first button, it is the only button in this group that is green.

Now you should see a post box. First give your thread a title. Then start typing your post in the large box. You may preview it when you are done or you may preview it several times before you are done.

Congratulations. You have started a thread! This is your story thread where you can journal your story and others will come in to give you support and advice. Do not start another story thread until this one is ~150 posts.
But you may start threads about topics. These would be for the purpose of discussing a topic with the group where the main focus is not your situation. To start a non-story thread change the icon from a story book to a relevant icon—they all have descriptions in the pull down menu above.

If you have never posted before you may have to enter verification codes in until you have 10 posts.

Take your time and add those and in no time that requirement will go away.
