My Story Through the Looking Glass
#110: June 25, 2025, 09:56:07 PM
Hi Everyone,

I used to wonder how people would be so active in this forum and then would drop out sight.  Well I haven’t posted for 8 months and I now understand what happens.  The past months have been wonderful and crazy busy for me.  My new job is going really well and I am still dating the woman from my last post.  It is her birthday tomorrow and we have a special night planned together.
My kids are also thriving and we are getting ready for a national dance competition in Vegas.  Will be a great time for me to relax, workout, and watch my daughter dance.

I came to this forum looking for hope and a need for understanding.  Now I have reached acceptance and honestly don’t need it or care to understand what happened.  I am healed and happy which is enough for me.

Thank you everyone who supported me during the difficult times.

HF so glad to hear you and family are doing well. Maybe it is a great thing that you have no need to post. I think we all come to these places initially trying to find something to hang on to, maybe to understand, maybe to fix. What matters is to find our way out of that place.

Sounds like you have your life back. Just not the way you may have initially thought.

I think this happens to a lot of folks here.  Reaching acceptance in whatever form and moving on from Hero Spouse.  And that’s perfectly ok.

Good for you friend.   Upwards and onwards.  Dont look back.  This is the way.
