Prevailing wisdom say this is the definition of the typical age difference.

Sorry Standing I am confused. Are you asking about the different in age between the MLCer and spouse or the MLCer and OW/OM?
-
I'm asking about the age difference between the WAS and the affair partner.

Changed one possibly answer to Don't know for Sure because that is a true possibility. Also the chances that a responder would answer 11 years is highly unlikely. That would mean that they have the same birthday, I suppose.

Oops, I voted wrong. There is 20 years difference between my H and his affair partner. Don't know if someone can change that for me. ;D

My H had affairs (PA or EA - don't know) with his ex-wife and ex high school girlfriend.
Both are his age - 7 years older than me.
Crazy huh?

My ex's OW is an old girlfriend from art college and is two years older than him - I'm six years younger than him. Makes you feel good being left for an older woman!
