Okay weird thing about that song. I first heard it Wednesday after church when I shared with someone my belief in marriage. It played as I drive home. I looked it up and found why he made the song. It was not due to his broken heart. I heard it again on Friday Saturday and it was in a devotional this morning. Now I saw this post and I am touched again. I think someone is telling me something. WOW.

Oh, I had a few songs I listened to to get my spirits up when in the thick of my H's MLC, once I could listen to music again...that took two years. They are:
No Good Woman, by Else LeGrow, Forget You, ( the nasty version)by Cee Lo Green, Stronger by Kelly Clarkson, and many Pink songs, which I could be found singing in my car when I was alone. It helped.

Ok- I believe in signs and all of that. I took a yoga class this fall- there was a song in our playlist for the class that I could NOT get out of my head so I downloaded it onto my ipod-- a month later I got BD2- I do NOT think it was a coincidence, and this song describes perfectly what I feel right now. I highlighted the words that resonate with me. And, based on what my H has been telling me this weekend, it's how he's feeling, too. :(

It's funny how the type of music makes each person "feel better"!
Strangely enough, when I am at peace & calm, Blues music is my preference, especially with slide guitar in it. It's one of my favorites to play on guitar as well.
When I am feeling down or angry, I listen to very extreme heavy metal; also while I am working out. I am able to "lose" myself in the intensity of the music and "burn off" whatever bad feelings I might have. All I know is when I am done listening, I always feel better! Fun and intense to play on guitar as well!

When I asked my Mom, she said how do you look at a cow disease, or do they sing about them? :) Ha, I didn't make it to that one.

In 2005 I was fortunate enough to be stationed in Germany and got to attend MTV Rock im Park...Iron Maiden & Slayer, along with about 60 other bands were their! Iron Maiden is my all time favorite Power Metal band...Iced Earth is a close second....Pretty much anything from the NWOBHM!

Wow that's a hard one...I'm current in love with the album dark eyes by Half Moon Run... The last track 21 gun salute is beautiful....metal and dust by London Grammer is amazing and reminds me of our relationship breakdown :( anything dark, bassy and melancholic...foals are always uplifting...can't beat a bit of black skinheads by kanye :) my goodness anything really...xx
