Title: The Marriage Foundation
Post by: Trustandlove on March 12, 2013, 05:45:24 AM
I just wanted to post a link to a UK organisation that seems to be getting more and more much-needed publicity.  Perhaps a moderator could put it into an appropriate area?

I was contemplating sending them a copy of an article I saw posted here; don't know how appropriate that is.

I always love how much more we see examples of saving marriages and sites that don't think marriage is a dirty word. Thank you.

Marriage is not a dirty word. Problem is it takes two to have/keep/build/rebuild a marriage. With an MLCer we're left, for the duration of the crisis, on our own.

"22% of marriages that took place in 1970 had ended in divorce by the 15th wedding anniversary, whereas 33% of marriages in 1995 had ended after the same period, ie by 2010.  (ONS, Marriages in England and Wales, 2010 "

Wonder if this mean these marriages broke in midlife...
