Okay I am not sure if this counts but it is a place where we can have virtual meet-ups so I created aund thread for something that I was thinking about. I know there are different time zones around the world so if others want to plan a virtual meetup to meet their time-zone. I found out that Skype will allow you to create a group with up to 25 other skype names you can call for free at any time. The only rule is that you will have to go skype to skype for it to be free.
Sunday Skype Fellowship: Starting June 3rd at 1:00pm Pacific time - feel free to suggest topics for devotionals, send praise reports, volunteer for prayers and sharing your testimony.
Thursday meet and greets: Starting Thursday May 9th at 7:00pm pacific we can do 6:00 pacific if that helps anyone. This is to just meet everyone, discuss our goals, laugh, share a glass of wine and generally find life outside of MLC. This is not to discuss MLC, spouse bash, be angry about them or any of that. This is more for a socialization activity and getting to know others.

So tonight is the first Skype hey how you doing visit. It is at 7:00 pm pacific so I you want to join in pm me you Skype information and I will do a group call. I think that a discussion on our positive energy is on for afte we say hello. Just remember this isn't about our MLcer at all but our journey.

We had a hiccup and found out that we can use google plus hangouts for videos. It was very nice putting faces to names.

Well once we got the technical difficulties ironed out it was very cool doing that.
Our little group of four is all at different spots in our journey and it was very nice chatting with you all.

We are using google hangouts because we can video in for free, we cant group video call in skype for free. So please set up a google plus account I will PM you my information.

Yes it was nice once we got through the technical difficulties. One thing I want to keep in mind is that these calls aren't for discussing MLC and we did stray to that after a while. We will certainly support anyone who is needing the help, but these calls are to discuss the power of positive thinking and to reinforce positive outlooks. While everyone is at different stages in this journey anyone who wants to instill positive thinking in their journey can and should no matter what stage they are in. Use this forum to focus on MLC and follow the articles, learning all you can but our calls are not focused on MLC but improving our journey on a different level. Everyone is at different stages and that is cool, but remember it doesn't matter how soon you are, how long you are in the MLC process positive thinking is what we are learning so timelines have no meaning.
We need to change the title of this thread to Google Hangout - Old Pilot can you help me with that.

Wasn't able to join tonight :( had looked forward to it and will definitely try next week if you're on again. Just got new book which from what I've been told sounds like it will be helpful in using positive words. Should have it read by next week and will let all know. hope this week's went well.

Thanks for that - I noticed this morning, I received an e-mail saying that I had missed it :( I was so tired yesterday that I practically fell into bed, sorry!

Will keep an eye out for next meetup and try to make it. May be a bit harder for awhile as H is back home for a bit and questions when I do anything differently (example is taking laptop up with me when I go to my room as that is not what I typically do). Says he will eventually move to his mom's since doesn't look like he'll get his house soon, but may not be til either OW leaves her home or things become finalized as that is his plan.

Well I am moving to a different time zone so we should be able to move it up an hour for everyone. I say once we get people on the hangout a there is nothing wrong with anyone scheduling a time they want to have one of these. Just post that you want to hangout and see if others can join feel free. The main focus was to be positive focus on living outside of the MLC world for an hour as the forum is for MLC and meet people that we can laugh with. I hope on Sunday to eventually have a devotional and worship fellowship. With me moving and staring a new job my time will be nuts but anyone can schedule a hangout using this thread.
My biggest fear is that it turns into MLC land and sadness. We have enough to deal with as it is, so these are for a little redirection and uplifting fellowship. I hope....lol
