Title: HAPPY FATHER' DAY !
Post by: xyzcf on June 16, 2013, 07:06:40 AM

To all the wonderful fathers here, who give their children love and security, my prayers are with you today.

It is a hard day, a family day and our families are no longer together. May God bless you for all you are doing for your children and for your wives, for believing that families can be restored again.

Thank you all. It is difficult when a significant part of our family's lives is missing, but we soldier on...

xyz and all the ladies on this site, thank you for the well wishes on this Father's Day.  This is truly a tough time in our lives as fathers but we try to continue with living in the present and preparing for our future.

Also, as corny as this may seem, I want to say Happy Father's Day too to all the moms of MCLers because you, too, are being the "fathers" in your families as well as mothers!  It's hard being both parents but someone has to be the responsible one!

Continued success in everyone's journey, whatever that may be!  :)

I wanted to wish all of the Father's on this Forum a Happy Father's Day as well and I wanted to thank Bailmor for his well wishes for us Mom's that are often wearing two hats. I was thinking this very same thought this weekend as I was buying a Father's Day card for my kiddos to give their Dad. I didn't even get a "Happy Mother's Day from my H a month ago, but it was important to my kids that they at least have a card for their Daddy. I put my pain and hurt aside for my babies and bought my H a card for the kids to sign and give him. MLC is such a painful journey, but our kids are the innocent victims in this mess. Hugs to everyone who wears both hats.

Agreed Gc.  Not my father.  Not really anyone's father right now.  Well maybe his bromance will get him something. ::)

Happy Father's Day to all the parents doing the job of daddy alone - like me. Remembering the one true father today too... My God. Who has given my precious baby d health and happiness whilst her daddy did not call or text to ask if he could spend the day with her. He thinks is have ignored him or gunned him down but that's not me. That's him projecting fear and guilt. I did send a text to him even though I'm no contact right now wishing him. He hasn't responded. In his heart I'm still to blame for everything and he's the victim of evil women (even the ow was a psycho last week ... She's certainly unstable and desperate but I've been praying for her every day to heal herself so she can be on her way and not hurt and destroy her children and my family because of the hurt within her. But I'm praying for h to become the father he is to baby d and to Heal, heal heal.
