All the photos will be posted on my FB page, but I'll just describe them here:

Day 1 -- "Springtime, finally" my planter with daffodils, tulips, and hyacinths in bloom.

So no one is going to join along with me, huh?
Day2--a picture of my dad's battery operated law mower that I took when he passed away.  When I use it I can still smell him sometimes.

I'm in!  Does it have to be a picture, or can it just be a feeling?

I took a picture today at my son's school...They have a beautiful garden with statues in it, and the afternoon light was hitting a statue of a grecian maiden staring down into a beautiful fountain that they have.  The inside of the fountain is painted blue, and in the afternoon the blue was a beautiful deep azure.  The grass around the fountain was a lush green, and in the background there are pink cherry or apple blossoms blooming on the trees.

They call this "the senior garden" and only seniors are supposed to walk in it, but I felt compelled to go in and take the picture.  I figured the students think of me as a "senior" anyway.

Welcome, Moonlighting!  If you go to the website: http://100happydays.com/
You can sign up and then post pictures thru Facebook, Twitter, etc.  I don't want to plug up this forum with photos so I just describe them.

The senior garden sounds beautiful!  Nice description...I can really visualize it.

I'll join in, but with descriptions not photos.

I was having a snooze on the sofa yesterday afternoon and I had obvious been snoozing too long. The dog tried to nuzzle my hand, and when that didnt work she got one off toys and plonked it on my tummy!  I got the hint and got up :)

My happy photo today was also a race related photo!  It was a picture of my medal from a  half-marathon that I ran today, with the beach and the Atlantic Ocean in the background.

I posted a personal best today, finishing in the top 4% of all women and in the top 2% of my age group (and the top 10% of finishers overall!).  I hate to find a silver lining in the MLC, but I suppose I've been more dedicated to my training and losing weight as a result of GAL.

Lovely images Tired!

Today was a foggy morning in the NE after a night of torrential rain.

My son's school has a beautiful orchard, which was enshrouded by the fog this morning.  I look a picture of a gate that has the word "Peace" written on it, with the orchard in the background.

Wishing you all peace....

Whew!  I have a bunch of images!

Friday's image was a black and white photo of some train tracks.  I called it "Wanderlust."  Who knows where my journey will take me?

Saturday's image was of a double rainbow.

Sunday's image was the girl being confirmed at a beautiful church service.  The benediction was:  "May God give you the grace to never sell yourself short; grace to risk something big for something good; grace to remember that the world is too dangerous now for anything but truth and too small for anything but love. And the blessing of God Almighty - the God who creates us, the Son who sets us free, and the Spirit who promises to be with us - even to the end of the ages - be with us evermore."

Monday's image was of me and S13 singing in the car to ELO's "Don't Bring Me Down."  S surprised me by harmonizing along with the song.  He did a great job, and we had so much fun!!

Let's see what Tuesday brings!

Hello,

I love this thread. It doesn't matter what mood I'm in it makes me smile.

MoonlightinPortia- Congratulation on your daughter's confermation.

The image of your son singing along reminds me of when my three sons were younger. My oldest ( who loves to sing) couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. That didn't stop him. He would sing anyway.  I would just smile. The other two kids would roll their eyes and grown.lol. I guess that would be my image for Day 13.

I've been "off the boards" the last few days and really concentrating on myself.  So here's an update:
Day 14--yeah it fits! Who says you can't put an 11' SUP in a Mini? With the top down and about 6 feet of paddle board sticking out.  It was a good day.
Day 15--a little exam grading pick me up -- a fabulous caramel cupcake
Day 16--beautiful weather today! Sunshine, over 80, and just enough humidity to give me '80s hair
Day 17--Picking up dog poop and found a 4 leaf clover. Hmmm, there must be a moral to the story.

Everyone is doing so well.  It is really nice to see positivity!
