OK - it is now 72 hours past her first dose and it appears things are getting a little better - Whew!

A mild achy headache and very very tired but better than yesterday and the day before and the biggest of
surprises she can taste a little bit.
That is hopeful!
8 months of no taste was wearing thin.

So their is definitely hope!!

Just to update - I am getting my first vaccine on Monday - Moderna.

And my hero nurse is getting her second on March 6.
The first round let her taste come back a little and possibly improved her brain function although that is according to her
neuoroligist who is performing tests to measure it.

She still does not feel comfortable with her brain function.

This is one of the studies she is enrolled in

https://covidlonghaulers.com/

It is with Dr. Bruce Patterson from Stanford

he seems to think that their may be meds that can be taken to help the brain function.

I hope so.

A "friend" will not "stand by you" no matter what you do. That is NOT a friend. That is an enabler. That is an accomplice.
A REAL friend will sit you down and tell you to your face to stop being a firetrucking idiot before you ruin your life and the lives of those around you.
