Discussion Serious Moonlight

Anybody see Serious Moonlight with Meg Ryan....it's an independant film...you must...must...must..MLC written all over it.  I saw it couple years back when H was still home in MLC..watching it tonight on Netflix with a bag of twizzlers.  Anyway just a Buggy Rec..Makes ya laugh...can be silly and even shed a couple tears..

Oh if only!   I love how she bakes her a** off....chocolate chip...

Also gotta luv the divine intervention that wakes him up...

They have OW down to a T and also LBS confusion but Meg Ryan's character is just so damn determined...she REFUUUUUSES to believe any of his script...love it...love it.

A must watch...unless you feel triggered...otherwise so validating...

  Hey Bugs, I gotta check it out. My sister was just telling me to watch It's Complicated with Meryl Streep as LBS....she said it's hysterical.. She said "it's what you're going through. MLCers are NUTZ"  I never saw it so I stopped her from telling me the end. sort of ;)

Never heard of this one but will definitely check it out!!!  Might have to get myself a bag of Twizzlers too!   ;D

Serious Moonlight.... next on my list!!! Mamma... and anyone else who hasn't seen "It's Complicated".... very funny movie, no triggers!!

I just finally watched "The Help" and though it has been maligned as a terrible movie and a terrible portrayal of black people in America, I disagree based SOLELY on my own limited personal experience in the 1960's South.  The acting was superb... and perhaps people object to the "Stereotypical Black" characters.... but I sang with an R & B group years ago and can attest that the characters are NOT "out of character".... does it fully describe EVERYONE???? NO.  "nuff said.

But, go enjoy "It's Complicated" and also another of my favorites "Something's Gotta Give"..... ;)

I loved "It's Complicated" and laughed a lot, but did tear up when the adult kids of the couple were very upset at one point and said to their parents "we haven't recovered from your divorce yet"....and it was many years ago.  I HATE what divorce does to kids - especially when the divorce is so SELFISH AND SENSELESS!!!

Other than that moment, I agree it's a really fun movie.
