My Story Stand is over
OP: August 30, 2019, 04:46:51 PM
Hi All,

It's been a long time since I've posted.  Quick recap of where I am since.   I switched careers gotten a promotion and I am being looked at for another promotion.  I have dug my self out of a huge hole from the MLC my Ex wife is in.  She has recently gotten engaged to the OM and I actually congratulated her and wished her the best.
She still tries to control every single aspect of our kids life I just do not pay her any mind.   I wanted to thank everyone in this community for all the support you gave me when I joined her 2 or 3 years ago.   Feels like a life time ago.   To all the people who are stuck as a LBS I promise you if you do the mirror work regardless of the outcome of your MLC there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel for you.

I haven't been in a relationship since my divorce and I'm not sure if I ever venture down that road again.   I just am not sure how a single dad even goes about dating.   I get asked why am I single all the time but I figure its just people being polite.

Anyways.  I you are all doing well and I'll try and catch up on some of your journeys and add any advice I can.

Wow!  That was big of you to wish her well!  I cannot imagine how difficult that would be.  Good to know it eventually gets much better with either outcome!  Good job taking care of those kiddies!

Married 20 years
Husband is 43
4 kids 6-15 years old

BD-October 2018-ILYBNIL, wants a divorce, this after I found out about OW 1(EA), OW2(PA) no longer together.  I believe he is single.
April 2019 He got an apartment and moved out.
Oct 2019-Apologized for a years worth of monster behavior.  Still wants to start divorce this Spring, is distant, but friendly.  Tries more with kids, but mostly just helps haul them around(superficial).
Spring 2019 H agreed to put off the divorce another school year to keep the kids and I from moving back to TX.
2020-He has continued to help out when asked and be polite.  I do think he questions his choices at times.  I do not believe he has OW.

Really sorry to hear that. Not what any of us want to happen.

I don't know your story, but I can certainly understand that it's time.

Hi Last, thanks for the update. It's very good to hear you're doing great at work and have accepted your W moving on.

As for a single dad with kids, to me that is attractive. Don't let that stop you.
