Ok guys, here is my suggestion. Picnic brunch in pier A park hoboken next Sunday. Kids/guests welcome! Everyone bring your own lunch and one snack or treat to share. I'll get a balloon to mark our group! Pm me if you are coming and I will send you my cell. I suggest 12 noon to whenever and people can come when they can. I'll be there till 3 for sure. Also bring a chair or blanket. Park is short walk from path, train, or bus from NYC. There is street/garage parking near park. I'll work on a rain plan! Yeah!!! Finally getting this to happen!!!

When I put this in google maps it comes out at the ferry.
Is this the right place?

Edit - Never mind I see Park A just north of the ferry, it juts out into the water.  :) :) :)

Hi all,

Pier A Park is just north of the ferry/Path/NJ transit train station. A hop, skip and jump away! There is street parking right next to park, but hard to get, although generally the earlier you arrive the better. There are also pay parking garages nearby if you can't find street parking.

I myself will be taking the NJ transit bus from port authority in manhattan. So if anyone wants to drive to port authority there is a fairly cheap large and very convenient ($20) lot on the roof. Then I can meet you in port authority and we can take the bus together. Just let  me know if you are interested in this option. The bus from port authority to pier a park is 20 or 30 mins. It costs a few dollars.

Right now looks like bird (me), hobo and op confirmed. OP, any way to highlight this on board to get more metro-area lbs?
