Wish I could make it. I know it would be fun as well as enlightening meeting people that are going through the same issues in life with the same beliefs

Ok people I am going to give it one more day for anyone that has not read this thread to find it. Those that are interested start thinking about dates, I am looking to do this as soon as possible but if it turns out that it needs to be planned then I will consider meeting some of you individually while we plan for a bigger event. So far we have a split between weekday and weekenders so there may be at least two different meets.

I totally agree that dates are necessary and not everyone is going to be available.

Any thoughts about possibly choosing two dates..one for the spring in the East and one for the fall in the mid/west or west coast that way people can plan ahead and try to get to at least one.

I am willing to host in Denver in the fall and my home is large enough to serve as a meeting place with reasonably priced hotels nearby.

So, I know from the European ones, that once a date and pace was set..peole were able to comitt. let me know if I can help

Ok so I think this is long enough for people to have read this thread, if not then there will still be time for them to catch up.

Just to be clear, I am looking to schedule a meetup for those people that are close enough to drive, but will also plan an event for those a little further away but are interested in travel either in the spring or next fall.

I will be PM people today to get input. We have an offer for Denver later this year but I am not so sure I can make that one. I am more than happy to help with planning that meetup but cannot say if funds will be available for me to attend.

OK short term goal, drinks next week, who's interested?

Angelgirl you did not miss anything. I started this thread but then life got in the way and I have let it slip so I need to pick up the thread and move it forward.
My apologies to everyone, I am not good at planning things these days. I wanted to just meet people as soon as I could to get myself started on GAL but this did not work for whatever reason. So give me the rest of this week to get my head wrapped around this and I will make an announcement.

For anyone interested in meeting in a smaller group just pm me and I will try to make it, I can travel by car but cannot do overnights right now. But I love day trips. Anyway look for it by the end of this week!!
