Here in Portugal everyone is been going crazy in hospitals for months. They are over capacity. It all started with the flu (and the government cuts) and escalated from there.
People have die waiting to be seen in the ER, people, including elderly one, who have strokes or pneumonia are kept in corridors or short permanence ER rooms for days, sometimes up to 10 days.
The full moon must had arrived here long ago and is refusing to leave. Needless to say, all medical, nursing and health aid personal is exhausted. Our hospital and personal are good, but it is almost impossible to work the way they are working. And we are a EU country with a good NHS. Imagine if we weren't.
