Meet-Up Re: Mid and East US Meetup
#120: June 01, 2015, 09:50:25 PM
The 2 bedroom corner loft looks good if it's just going to be me, Bail, and MeNow representing the men. In addition to the 1558 base fee there's an additional 182.52 in taxes and fees for a total of 1740.52 or about 580.17 each. Not too bad a price for a room that I've been told will be filled with women until the wee hours of the morning, including nah. ;D ;D ;D

If the reservation is booked by June 30 and the $200 Grand Opening Passport to Savings is requested using the promo code GOPEN you'll receive a coupon for a $20 cabana discount and coupons for free coffee, pizza, etc.

Wow, MBIB, good work!

Will be sure to use the code when I book the cabana.

Everyone who is interested, please PM me about rooming. I just sent a PM to everyone on here who has not indicated that they have accommodations or roommate arrangements to see if we can configure at set up for everyone. There are so far 4 guys who posted on here. And 10 ladies aside from myself that had expressed interest and have not since declined. As stated before, the women can also get 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom condo and room together. So email me! Thanks, everyone!

Willit, I have mentioned this to Janus2014 and she would be interested as well.  Not sure if she has responded.  Might be another person if needed.

How necessary is the cabana? I don't want to be a Debbie Downer, but my reality is that an addition $50 is likely I not doable for me. I really hate the idea of saying I will have to pull out of this meet-up, but I'm already living on the razor's edge and the only way I was able to do it was because I got a windfall of $250. If I hadn't had that, I wouldn't be attending.

Please remember that there are people here who are either living hand-to-mouth or are damn close to it.

Hi Medusa,

It's not "necessary" and I am aware that people are struggling. I am as well. But I'm just putting everything out there to see what people want to do. If we agree on getting the cabana and you can't contribute I'm sure that will be fine.

Being that we are struggling this is will likely be our only vacation all year so, for me an additional $50 where we can relax privately, with a TV and in the shade by the pool with an assistant to bring us drinks and towels, etc... is worth it. Depending on how many people are on board, and my finances, I will take care of what is left over. And all will be welcome.

Just caught hold of this thread. So when and where? August 12th is my OD birthday. Other than that, I'm good for the rest of the month. So, where to?

You did, I forgot.  :) You know things have been hairy and hectic for me at best lately.  ;) I'll make plans to be there. Hey, maybe we can carpool?

I'm up for splitting the 2 bedroom loft. The Cabana would be nice but not a necessity. If Bail and MBIB are in, I'll try to first schedule my vacation, then book my portion of the room. So, how would us guys coordinate paying for it?
