Came across an old thread on here (2013) about Tiger Woods wanting his XW back. I googled it to see if they ever got back together and found an article from July 2015 that he still wants her back .. lol ..

Lately I've been really fascinated with the Scott Disick (Kourtney Kardashian) story and the Ben Affleck stuff also. I never really paid attention to any celebrity gossip before. But I'm enjoying rooting for these men to pull it together.

What do you think of these 2 examples? MLC, or something else?
Are there any other high profile couples stories that you follow?
Have there been any celebrity MLCers / standers / reconciliations in the media?

Came on tonight to share. Pulling "a MeNow" but with videos tonight. Some of you may have heard of Iyanla Vanzant's show Iyanla Fix My Life. There is an episode with a MLCer woman. She had an affair and left her husband and two sons 6 times to go live with the OM, relationship with OM ended, and came back a 7th and worked with Iylana, the life coach, to decide whether or not she should stay this time.

Here are 4 snippets from that episode. Her show comes on Oprah's OWN channel on Saturday nights. She visits with people and tries to help them awaken and heal.

Well, that was scary. There was another episode that was pretty important to this whole thing:

What I saw in those episodes was a shut down woman and a right fighter man. Her MLC makes more sense when you see that last episode. And it makes me want to go back and re-think my position that the LBS has nothing to do with MLC. Or maybe this woman was just a WAS not an MLCer.

Well someone dismissive of how you feel it sure does shut you down.

 Neither is perfect. If you can't connect (or have one person who has to be right all the time) you sure don't feel like you have a voice or may be valued or needed in the situation.

Omg I love that show! I've often thought we should be on it .. lol ..
I'm so glad she made an episode on MLC! Did she actually refer to it as MLC?

She didnt refer to it as that, but with my now seasoned and skilled eyes and ears I am.  Lol.

A lot of people on that show have issues which may or not be MLC-related. She works with a wide variety of issues that I definitely think stem from FOO. One other was a pastor who had his wife sit on the bench on one side of the church and his mistress on the other side and he would conduct worship service!  Will look for that one and post too.

In hindsight I can see me returning wasn't the most loving thing I could have done for myself.

I saw it as compassion. Thinking someone might need me or want the family back together. I made the whole thing way to easy. They saw it as weakness.

I did noticed the first thing she mentioned were her children would be the reason for doing it. Not him. She's concerned about the kind of mother she was. I'm not. I was the best mother I could be.

I'm going to stick with when the counsellor I went to (before the DV incident) asked me" "Can you see yourself with this man when you are 70?" I said "NO"

If I were any of you who felt your H's were the ideal mate to think long and hard about taking them back.

In the meantime be self-full.
