Stayed,
Congrats on the new grandbaby!
I'm quite confident the lung issue will clear itself up.  It's scary when there is a problem with a new baby, though.  The doctors know what it is....so it should be fine.
You must be exhausted!  Take care of your daughter and the baby.

Hugs,

L

So, it's 12:30 at Jerry's in N. Hollywood?
How many people?
If I get there first - what size table?  Or will there be a reservation?
This sounds like fun!
Can't wait.

Thanks everybody!  I am a little "weary" hehehe... no rest for the wretched... oh well.  I'm here with the two boys, son in law will be back around 3pm. when oldest grandson gets home from school and will take me over to see my "baby"... hehehe.

She sounds good, a little worried but has confidence in the hospital and the care he is receiving.  I'm waiting to hear from my brother as to whether I should be "upset" or not  :( !  The baby is only 37 weeks term... so he is 3 weeks early... which is a little earlier then it should have been but when he sugar dropped, it was too risky to leave him there any longer.

Xyzcf can explain it better then I can, being a pediatrics nurse, she explained it to me very well.  So feel free to fill them in hun.  Not sure how normal this small hole in the lungs is... once again, I am thinking Xyzcf would know.

Thanks for all your well wishes, you all the best friends anybody could ever have.

Love ya all... Stayed...

How much did he weigh Stayed?

His 37 week prematurity should not cause difficulties but he is still "younger" than a full term baby so may be a bit weaker re" breastfeeding and a bit sleepier.

Re: the hole in his lung..this pretty well sums it up:

Spontaneous pneumothorax generally occurs during the first few breaths post-delivery and is asymptomatic. Symptoms of respiratory distress such as rapid breathing, nasal flaring, grunting with expiration, and cyanosis (blue coloration of the skin) may be present in some babies, but these symptoms usually respond to temporary oxygen supplementation with no long term consequences.

Keep us posted!!!!! Can you put some pictures on the alt?

I miss you already! Especially your laughter and shall I say "directness"? Nobody can ever accuse you of not telling it like it is!

12:30 at Jerry's in Studio City - sounds good.  Too funny, that is where I bowl on Monday nights.  Jerry's gets pretty crowded on saturday afternoons. Wonder if we can make a reservation.

BNW, the weather has been really great here lately - about 12-15 C, sun shining - great.  Wish you could be there too.
