My Story Re: Insurrection
« Reply #60 on: September 15, 2017, 08:15:46 AM »

I've been reading along for awhile.

Thank you for coming back to update your story.

It's important for all newbies, and some old timers, to see that letting go and making a good life for yourself is very important.

You were at a point where your life was happy, even without your H.
You didn't NEED him to come back.

Now you have the option of allowing him to prove himself and see if he can fix things or not.

I sure hope he is strong enough to do the work.  He sounds ready.  Has he said he would go to counseling, if you wanted him to?

I'm praying for all of you.
A quote from a recovered MLCer:
"From my experience if my H had let me go a long time ago, and stop pressuring me, begging, and pleading and just let go I possibly would have experienced my awakening sooner than I did."

OWL, thank you so much for your detailed update.
I read the conversation many times over.  I'm actually trying to memorize it! ;D  ;D ;DJust in case.
What I'm wondering about is this: for a person like me who was never ever good at quick comebacks, how do I have this kind of truth cannon conversations with spontaneous and perfect comments?  My perfect remarks and answers usually come many hours after any serious convo, long after the golden moment has melted away. Sigh...

If you have any MLCer-LBS conversation manual, please let us know where to buy it.  I have plenty of time to train as H seems to be in no hurry to move along.

May I ask that you update us when you can?  Your posts are invaluable.

OWL, I have caught up with all your threads. You are an amazing, strong woman. Thank you for being so candid about your experiences. I have yet to build myself up to handle things similar to how you do. (especially your quick responses to H). I look forward to hearing how things are progressing with H.

I dream of that conversation with my W.

I dream of W admitting any fault at all.

Love reading your posts, an inspiration to keep moving forward.

Reading along OWL and it's a joy as usual.  I'm just glad there is hope and good stuff along with the humor this time.
I'm not looking for my other half because I'm not half a person.
