Still, your job does sound really rewarding on so many levels.  This is why I am so anxious to find a new job - something that is worthwhile and not just paying bills.  I miss that.  Still praying about that one, too. :)

I voted, but I also teach ESL, which I enjoy very much - my 'business' job is only part time and as as executive assistant I get to see most areas of business.

I'm a nursing student, my calling. But my first degree is in business and I worked in that profession for a few years but didn't like it.

I am a qualified nurse it also pains me that i treat people with conditions from minor ailments to intensive care patients, but i cant treat the one thing i wish i could for us on all on here and thats MLC, unless of cause i get the doctor to prescribe us all sledge hammers  :o :o :o :o xxxx

I'm in education, I'm a high school guidance counsellor who helps students with personal problems and yet I didn't see the "red flags" in my marriage and when my husband dropped the bomb, I was absolutely shocked.   I think my training as a counsellor and looking at what I would say to students, has helped me tremendously to move on and look after myself and accept what has happened.

I'm in education too.

I don't know that what we do makes any difference, except that when we have a career we have another focus for our lives and we can survive independently.

Looks like I'm the only engineer. I also have a home business, dye sublimation, laser engraving and just added a vinyl plotter for
signs and vehicle graphics.

I am a high school chemistry teacher, but have also taught college freshmen.  My H is an engineer/physicist/mathematician.

Many of my fellow teacher friends are also married to engineers.
