We are really dodging the bullet here.  We're getting the band's but not a direct hit.  Gman, I really feel for you and everyone in the direct path.  Sending prayers!

My sister is in Lake Wales, east of Tampa.  I know Gman is in Tampa.

Sadly it sounds like the whole state will be effected one way or another.   :(

I'm in West Palm Beach.   We were direc9in the path until Irma shifted to the west.   Still have strong winds and rain but we got very lucky to miss what was headed our way.

Its supposed to be a cat 2-3 as it passes directly over around 2am. The fun starts at 8 though.  Party hats optional.

I'm in contact with a neighbor of mine via radio, phone etc. I'm going to step up preparedmess next year. Its all stuff I can use for camping and airsoft too..

Otherwise its like a big sleepover.. Frozen pizza, movies, video games. I got lots of cleaning and laundry done ! If I lose the house, at least it'll be clean!

We're getting very strong winds.   Lost power.  My screens in my screen room are gone.  But still,  so very lucky.  It was headed our way as a cat 5.
