Uhmmmmmm ......

I guess it depends on the source....

My usual source is quiet but it was Thanksgiving Day in the US so the writer might have been spending time with his family... But here are some others... Some nice, some potentially unpleasant...

=======================================================

At 9:39pm PST on November 22, 2018, the full moon will be in Gemini. Also known as the Full Beaver Moon and the Frost Moon, this moon is full of important info.

In fact, new information always seems to come to light around the full moon… and that’s no coincidence. After all, when lunar energies are at their peak, we tend to be a lot more extroverted—and word of mouth travels fast!

But if you really want to know what’s up, the full moon in Gemini delivers the goods. That’s because this lunation is ruled by none other than Mercury—the messenger of the gods himself.

WHAT DOES THE FULL MOON IN GEMINI MEAN?

With or without the winged sandals, this November full moon could be described as footloose and fancy-free. As the trickster of the zodiac, Gemini never stays in one place for too long… and under its influence, we won’t want to, either!

Trying new things or meeting new people, we often discover new sides of ourselves. And that’s especially true at this full moon, when our sense of self feels a lot more fluid. We can have fun trying on different ideas and identities, without being limited or defined by any particular one. After all, this is a time for gathering information—not worrying about how it all fits into the grand scheme of things.

Of course, we will want to know that eventually. And when we’re ready to reflect, the sun in Sagittarius (which opposes this full moon) will be there to help us gain wisdom from our experiences. Just remember to keep an open mind—some of your new insights may surprise you!

Open-mindedness: that’s Gemini at its best.  This mutable air sign is never too proud to change its mind or adapt itself to new situations. And as the ultimate “social butterfly,” Gemini can find common ground with just about anyone.

But every sign has its challenges, and Gemini’s versatility can come at a price. With so many opportunities to socialize at this full moon, it can be easy to scatter our energies and lose touch with our own center. And while we all love a good story, it’s possible to get carried away and take a little too much poetic license with the facts.

Still, this could be the most fun and fascinating full moon of the year—so get out there and satisfy your curiosity!

===================================

The November Beaver Moon peaks in the morning hours of Friday, November 23, while passing through the third astrological sign of the zodiac. The Full Moon marks the midway point of the monthly lunar cycle but is also a significant and powerful esoteric and mystic symbol. Astrologers who track the Moon’s journey across the starlit skies believe Full Moons accentuate cosmic energies and bring about change in our lives.

The November Full Moon is no exception to this rule and astrologer Jamie Partridge of AstrologyKing.com and is looking towards an “unpleasant” Full Moon this week.

On the night of the Full Moon, the glowing orb will be influenced by the planet Mars and Jupiter.

The Moon will square Mars, or form a 90-degree angle, and heighten sensations of anger.

Tempers might also flare thanks to the Moon in opposition to Jupiter – a direct 180-degree connection.

These two astrological aspects might leave you vulnerable and open to attack but also impulsive and tactless.

The November 23 Full Moon has a nasty feel to it

Jamie Partridge, AstrologyKing.com
Mr Partridge said: “The November 23 Full Moon has a nasty feel to it because of the planetary aspects and fixed stars.

“The Full Moon square Mars brings bitterness and anger for the next two weeks.

“An opposition to Jupiter amplifies this confrontational energy.”

The Full Moon in Gemini will fall at about zero degrees in the zodiac sign and zero is said to represent infinite possibilities and creativity.

According to Ms Chubb, the energy radiated by Gemini also favours expression, communication and creativity.

With all of this in mind, the November Full Moon should give you time to get more “hands-on” with your life.

She said: “November’s Full Moon is all about illumination and coming into a newfound sense of self.

“It is a powerful Full Moon that will help us to wrap up where we have been and to see a new potential before us.

“We have been sailing rough seas, but now we see what is beneath us, the colours of the fish, the beautiful shapes of the coral.”

===========================================

The full moon on Friday November 23, 2018 at 0° Gemini in the Pleiades Star Cluster. The Full Moon November 2018 astrology is also influenced by the planetary aspect Mars square Jupiter. This can make you feel strong, brave and sexy but also angry and frustrated. The danger is that impulsive and reckless actions could lead to accidents or injuries.

The November 2018 full moon in the Pleiades increases the risk of losing your temper and becoming cruel and ruthless. The keys to avoiding pain, loss and sorrow are patience and forethought. While irritation and frustration may prove difficult to avoid, you can release the hot full moon energy safely using self-control and moderation.

Full Moon Meaning
A full moon occurs when the Sun is opposite the Moon. This highlights opposing forces or polarities in your life such as your work versus home, or what you need versus what you want. Inner tension and external pressures can lead to personal conflict and crises that drain your energy. Your home, family and intimate relationships comes into sharper focus following a full moon.

The lunar qualities of emotions and instincts reach their peak at a full moon. Use you increased emotional strength and intuition to overcome any relationship challenges. Subconscious awareness allows for an impartial and balanced look at your personal relationships. You will clearly see any relationship dynamics or negative feelings causing disharmony.`

A full moon has a relationship to the previous new moon. Your November 7 new moon goals can now be fine-tuned or completed, it is harvest time. You can make emotional adjustments in response to those new goals. Full moon November 2018 lasts for two weeks up to the December 7 new moon.

Full Moon November 2018 Astrology
The November 23 full moon has a nasty feel to it because of the planetary aspects and fixed stars. The full moon square Mars brings bitterness and anger for the next two weeks. An opposition to Jupiter amplifies this confrontational energy.

The Moon at 00°52′ Gemini Sign is on the same degree as Alcyone, the central star of the Pleiades Star Cluster. The Pleiades bring love and peace when well placed. However, square Mars and opposite the Sun and Jupiter is far from being well placed.

Full Moon Aspects
Full Moon square Mars brings simmering anger to the surface so take care to avoid being hurt or causing harm. There is danger when taking risks or acting impulsively. However, holding in anger and frustration is not healthy either. Repressed anger can manifest physically as pain in your body, accidents, aggressive reactions in others, or as conflict in your home. There will probably be some degree of emotional discomfort in close relationships, especially with women.

They key to handling this quick and hot energy is to release your frustrations in a controlled way. If you have annoyed someone else, don’t be overly defensive or mean when they share their feelings with you. Cuts or burns, especially in the kitchen, would suggest you have not dealt with your emotional troubles. Face what is making you feel threatened with courage. Emotional attacks from others are just as likely as you losing your temper with a loved one.

Moon opposite Jupiter is likely to cause lack self-control and unwanted attention. It can make you less guarded about your feelings and private life, which can leave you vulnerable to interfering mothers, moral crusaders and even the public. This full moon will be more problematic if you already have difficulty with self-control or addiction. You may react to others people’s possessive or jealous behaviour by subconsciously falling into negative habits and behaviors.
Mars square Jupiter can make you feel energetic and sexy but can also make you impulsive and tactless. It gives the courage to take on adversaries if you feel threatened but a defensive approach is best. This is not a good full moon for going on the attack, especially without provocation. Without forethought and strategy, rash actions could lead to embarrassment, accidents or injuries. Finally, moderate your energy output to avoid physical or emotional exhaustion.

Full Moon in The Pleiades

Fixed star Alcyone at 00 ♊ 15 is the main star of the Pleiades in Taurus Constellation. It has a strongly feminine influence and its rising has always been linked to homosexuality in men:

They adopt feminine dress, footwear donned not for wear but for show, and an affected effeminate gait. They are ashamed of their sex; in their hearts dwells a senseless passion for display, and they boast of their malady, which they call a virtue. To give their love is never enough, they will also want their love to be seen. [1]

If well-connected, the Pleiades bring love and eminence, making people ambitious, optimistic and peaceful. They give many journeys and voyages, success in agriculture and through active intelligence. [2] They are especially indicative of events that affect the family and family life. [3]  The Pleiades can raise people to high position with preferment, honor and glory. [4] Even if ‘afflicted’, they make for an excellent counselor to others in the time of bereavement. [5]

However, the full moon conjunct Alcyone is not well-connected. Ptolemy assigned the planetary nature of the Moon and Mars to Alcyone, just like the tempestuous aspect it activates. The Pleiades can cause injuries to the eyes and face and even blindness, especially when in harsh aspect to Mars. [4] Alcyone brings deep sorrows, tragedies and bereavement. [5] It can make people cruel, ruthless and promiscuous. Hostility from other, fall from power, disgrace and violence are also possible.

My preferred source has posted now too....

Interesting to say the least....
===================================================
Tonight is the Full Frost Moon, so called because the frost and ice will start to set in as the earth grows colder, animals will start to hibernate for the winter months, the last leaves will fall from the trees and the land will become barren. The Moon is rising in the constellation of Gemini. We are amidst some strong planetary alignments that are heralding a need for profound change and revolution inside and out. Our attitude is of foremost importance during this time and can empower us and see us through whatever we are facing. Gratitude for what we have and a willingness to move with the energy that is calling is required.

This particular Full Moon will not be boring and will have an unpredictable vibe along with it. The places we have been feeling stuck in our lives may suddenly begin to move or shift. If emotions are clogged, they may surface and flow, let them, don't hold anything in, let your emotions out. The Gemini Full Moon will be filled with raw emotions. Everyone is going to feel it on some level. You can feel your emotions go from high to low to all over the place. We may have trouble sleeping and experience wild and vivid dreams but don't worry as this will pass over the next few days. Be aware of dualistic thoughts, emotions and behaviours, this may be generating a lot of mental stress and tension plus sending out mixed signals to others and the universe. Try to stay grounded and find a balance. Finances are illuminated on this Full Moon, to watch what we are spending and to improve or bring in any extra income.

Tonight's Full Moon brings change, we are coming to the end of the year, with Yule and the New Year fast approaching we must become empowered to make the changes necessary to shift our situation. It is up to us and the time is now. We must let go and surrender to the deeper current that is transforming us. You are the master of your destiny. Take your power back from society and other people. Learn from your past mistakes. Vow to do better next year. Make a commitment to your success. Be adaptable. Make friends with change. It is not the enemy. Change is your friend. Change sheds the old and gives birth to the new.

This Full Moon is about communication, higher learning and our sense of creativity and adventure. Something has been building inside of us and now is the time when the energy of the cosmos demands that we let it out. We are magnets to our desire right now, we have the power to attract what we want toward us. Gemini is the sign of creativity and learning, this will give us a boost in mind power, we will be able to see things more clearly, we will see our own truths and a fog will be lifted that can show us a path that can lead us into improving ourselves both spiritually and mentally.

This Full Moon look into yourself and ask yourself what you need to move forward, ask yourself how you are going to achieve this and ask yourself if you feel that you are strong enough to do this. If you feel that you are not strong enough, use the energy of this Full Moon to heal and gain strength. Ask the Goddess for guidance and to lead the way to a more positive and happier life. Tonight is a good time to determine just what you value and want to stand for, what you want to create in your life and carry forth into the next cycle of your evolution.

This was so odd.  The Frost Moon.

I woke up this morning and there is thick frost all over the streets and trees.  Odd.

Thanks once again for the info.  Always interesting and fun to read.   :)

Thank you, Ursa. Very interesting infos.

Must be the Gemini thing, I have been sending more personal e-mails than usual.

Frost Moon... the weather was nice here in the morning, lovely warm sun. Now, all of a sudden, it is chilly.  And sort of cloudy.

This made me laugh in regards to my MLCH:

Moon opposite Jupiter is likely to cause lack self-control and unwanted attention. It can make you less guarded about your feelings and private life, which can leave you vulnerable to interfering mothers, moral crusaders and even the public. This full moon will be more problematic if you already have difficulty with self-control or addiction. You know, I usually read these moon updates for fun.  But after this past week IRL and online, I fully 100% believe that this full moon is having an effect.  ;) :)

"The November 23 full moon has a nasty feel to it because of the planetary aspects and fixed stars. The full moon square Mars brings bitterness and anger for the next two weeks. An opposition to Jupiter amplifies this confrontational energy."

Even friends I haven't talked to in a while have been texting me and telling me about certain weird things happening, like one friend said her brother just went off on her husband for seemingly no reason.

Hmm...might be a really unfortunate time for me to be having major surgery.  Hopefully the surgeon has gotten all of his bitterness and anger out before he enters the surgical theater! lol
