She also said she wanted to work
On our ‘communication and friendship’. I’ll take that, who knows where we end up but Im still
Standing. I don’t really have a desire to get into a new relationship, I’m Having fun building a relationship with myself and learning about me.

It will be interesting to see how much contact she wants to have now that the D is final. I know you have kids so your lives won't ever be completely separated, but if she wants to be free of you to live her life, you should let her do that.

Going dim might be a good idea: if it's related to the divorce or the boys you should respond and keep her in the loop, but otherwise she's not entitled to know the details of your life any more. Let her find out what you're doing from the kids and from mutual friends; anything you do at this point won't be construed as an attempt to win her back if you don't tell her about it.

I'm sorry about the divorce Baxter, it's brutal to have to go and you don't get any say in it. Glad to hear that you guys are amicable and that she didn't bleed you dry for alimony. I recognize the BS excuses for divorce so much..

You are going through your journey with so much grace and stability for you and your kids, my compliments to you! I wish you all the best and let's see what the future holds for you.

I appreciate the support! This wasn’t the result I wanted but at the end of the day the kids have a stable home and that makes me happy. also Baxter and so get to hang out every day. Every situation is different but I think I made out ok under the circumstances.
