Discussion Welcome to Plathville - is it MLC on realityTV?
OP: July 02, 2024, 01:15:44 PM
Okey, I'm curious.... Somebody else watching a reality series called Welcome to Plathville?

It starts as show about Christian family living a closed life in rural Georgia, and turns into MLC/LBS story when mother of nine goes ...err, nuts.

Currently it is on season 5 and season 6 is coming.
Some bat$h!te crazy MLC moments include (but are not limited):
+ Full 180 on many behaviours like makeup, clothing
+ Opening up a personal dance studio at fifty
+ Flirting with younger (muscular) guy at family dinner
+ Filing for D after 20+ joint years
+ Starting to date a guy who is her sons flight instructor
+ DUI
...

The father of family ... He's playing the LBS playbook like a pro. My heart goes with him.

Though MLC is likely the most devastating thing for any family, I think it is interesting to see a "curated" version of it from tv.  Possibly biggest learning of it all are  various conversations and emotions children of family go through. They are occasionally heartbreaking.

So anyone else following this?
