This is the hurricane thread correct? LOL  Late night antics roll on. And our MLCers are either having insomnia and stress or just passed out tired from drinking all day and running from their issues and demons. :)

Mother Nature has a sense of humor! I have power and was thinking Yippee, I can flush. BUTTTT, the septic tank is SO full that I can´t.
I will be living dry for a day or so til it seeps into the  saturated ground. Great.

Good thing I´ve got leftovers in the fridge.

I will scout around to see what Irene has done with the place.

Stay safe and remember, water and electricity don´t mix.

Ok here in Maryland . Winds at 35mph and rainy is heavy. Power keeps going on and off. Otherwise all is well . Just praying that everyone else is alright. Text with Off at 515 am she was ok just going to get some sleep because she had been up all night.

I made a choice to finally let go, because I can't stand the pain, it's time for my last tear to fall and smile again.

Went out into the driveway and two rather large branches had fallen off the tree that I normally park under. Thankfully my car was not there. I´ll be chain sawing later today or tomorrow. Good thing this LBS has learned that skill.

Reporting from northcentral MA. Around 7:30am the heavier rain started as well as gusts. Not too bad. Only moderate for both at this time. We have power, and AC, thankfully. HHH weather! UGH! :(  Looks like the eye of the storm is staying to the west.  BeStar

I'm in NY metro area. Still have power. Heavy rain and wind all night. We are supposed to have the worst of it in next few hours but seems calmer right now. I have my chocolate as well!

Hugs to all,

Birdy

Thanks, Hope. My friend in Charlotte said yesterday was sunny! I made it through the night. Should calm down a bit by this afternoon.

Take care,

Birdy

Ok in my neighborhood. Some minor branches in the yard, a TON of leaves in the pool, we still have electric, all the cars are safe. The worst looks like it passed. FTT, I'm only an hour away and have 3 bathrooms if you need to flush.
