FTT,

I live quite close to you in south/central NJ.  I have not ventured out to meet other LBS yet as I have become quite the mysterious recluse  ;) and am anxious not to start crying in front of others  :'(.  Unfortunately, I have family plans this weekend, but if you'd ever like to meet for a cup of coffee or tea, please keep me in mind.

Take care,
L&S

I'd like to have a beer with you guys and in the furtherance of international concorde is there any chance of making this get-together somewhere mid-atlantic? Ok, I guess Iceland is probably not that appealing this time of year...err...just forget I said anything, carry on... :)

Fantastic idea!  It is so empowering to meet up with other LBS's... and uplifting.  Honour, do you ever get to Europe?  Lot's of us here.  Crazystuff was in Iceland with a few friends last month, she loved it.  I wouldn't RULE it out, if I were you.

Organize it Honour and you might be stunned at who will be interested.  I for one have NEVER been too Iceland and I could be persuaded, hehehe.  Remember, we can be in most places in a few hours, not weeks on a steamer anymore... hehehe.

SOIC,

I live in California and I know of a few more that do. I suggested to WP that we do a meet up, it would be great. If you were to put one together I'm sure others would come.

I'm jealous that I can't go to the one on the East Coast, would looooooooooove to come

;D ;D ;D  The meetups have that effect!  Everybody gets excited everywhere in the whole wide world. Everybody wants to JOIN UP and meet each other.

Even something as horrible as this, has some incredible advantages that would never have been experienced accept something dreadful happened, you went searching for information and support and found FRIENDS for life.

Life is so ODD... hehehe... hugs and enjoy everybody, you can dream and maybe some of you Californians will actually make it to the NY/NJ meet-up.

There are a couple of us in VA (Summer, LC) and MD that could possibly make the trek up for the day or weekend.
