Forgiveness – it is misunderstood, or rather, I misunderstood the concept. It does not mean “pretend it didn’t happen.” It does mean removing the metaphorical hooks from our hearts, the hooks that bind us to the pain. But, what does that mean? How does one go about that?
I have been working on forgiveness, in all areas/relationships in my life. Just when I think "I have arrived!" another bit of resentment will creep up to shine a light on yet another issue for me to hash out. Maybe it is the way I am going about it...forgiving that is, which leaves me often frustrated with myself.
So, in my search for a plan that works for me, I came across the forgiveness course. It is free. (he is accepting donations)
