Mirror-Work Forgiveness course
OP: December 31, 2011, 12:50:24 PM
Forgiveness – it is misunderstood, or rather,  I misunderstood the concept.  It does not mean “pretend it didn’t happen.” It does mean removing the metaphorical hooks from our hearts, the hooks that bind us to the pain. But,  what does that mean? How does one go about that?

I have been working on forgiveness, in all areas/relationships in my life. Just when I think "I have arrived!" another bit of resentment will creep up to shine a light on yet another issue for me to hash out. Maybe it is the way I am going about it...forgiving that is, which leaves me often frustrated with myself.

So, in my search for a plan that works for me, I came across the forgiveness course. It is free. (he is accepting donations)

 http://www.victorythroughpeace.com/

I cannot recommend it, but I am going to try it. I thought it may be useful for some of you as well, so there it is.

I will update my opinions on the course as it progresses and welcome all discussion.

I was going to link to a discussion thread that I'd started on "Forgive For Love" by Frederic Luskin, but I can't seem to find it.

When I find the link, I'll post it here; I think it is a fantastic book for LBSes and anyone struggling with a spouse who is having an affair.
