In the beginning, all I could listen to was what I call "angry, white girl music."  For example, Alanis Morrissette - "Jagged Little Pill,"  Kelly Clarkson - "My December," Halestorm - "The Strange Case Of...," Lady Gaga, Adele and anything by Pink!  :D
I also listen to a lot of metal too, believe it or not. After all, I am a child of the 80's!  :P  LOL  Metallica, of course, duh!  Three Days Grace is heavy on my playlist (Chalk Outline is MY song!).  Rush, Triumph, Skid Row, Foo Fighters, Queensryche....the list goes on and on!!

Oh Hell Yeah......another 80's Metalhead like me!! All those are bands in my overloaded music library....along with Megadeth, Exodus, Anthrax, Overkill...etc....etc....  ;)!!

I saw the title of your recent thread (In Madness You Dwell) and knew exactly what that was from before I even read it! I saw them in 1986 when they opened for Ozzy (Ultimate Sin Tour) and again in Korea 1998!

End State: I'm glad it is over, for several reasons....too many to list here. I am so much better off and, aside from the great kids we have, regret ever marrying her.

OBO!!  Read your profile and my birthday is 2 days after yours!  However, I am a year older.  It's okay, I can handle it!  8)

Motorhead was another band that I loved! LEMMY!!!  ;D ;D ;D  Megadeth, Anthrax...oh hell yeah!!  Believe it or not, I have only seen Metallica one time!  And it was after I became an adult!  It was their Saint Anger tour.  2005??  Anywhoskie...my sister and I went to see them.  It was my Christmas present to her.  We had a great time!

Also forgot Van Halen, Budgie, Judas Priest, IRON MAIDEN!!! Wasp, Ozzy, Slayer....and the list goes on and on and on....  ;D

I am a few years younger than you CrazyTrain and OBO, but love allll of them. I love "For Whom The Bell Tolls" I wanted to go see Anthrax when they came in concert when I was in 9th grade. When I asked my Mom, she said how do you look at a cow disease, or do they sing about them? :) Ha, I didn't make it to that one.

I love angry, shouty music. My Girls like country...these days I find it hard to listen :)

Nice CT!

In 2005 I was fortunate enough to be stationed in Germany and got to attend MTV Rock im Park...Iron Maiden & Slayer, along with about 60 other bands were their! Iron Maiden is my all time favorite Power Metal band...Iced Earth is a close second....Pretty much anything from the NWOBHM!

.....And yes....love me some Motörhead too!!!

Had to add a couple more I been listening to recently. I think 5FDP did a real good job "metalizing" these classics:

And then there is this....Feeling Good......probably should be the LBS anthem! Always did like this song when I first heard it!

Nina Simone (original) - http://youtu.be/D5Y11hwjMNs
Michael Buble (remake) - http://youtu.be/Edwsf-8F3sI

Thanks for the many replies.  I love them all, and listen to the mix daily.  I should make a disk of them all and play while in car too!  Keep it coming - I love it!!!!!
