Poor Ted Turner. The CNN founder and media tycoon sits down with Piers Morgan tonight and expresses disappointment about many things, including romance and money. Here's a snippet:
Piers Morgan: "Ted, Jane Fonda, was she the great love of your life?"
Ted Turner: "Probably."
Piers: "Have you ever quite got over her?"
Ted: "No."
Piers: "Do you think you ever will?"
Ted:
"No. When you love somebody and you really love them, you never stop loving them, no matter how hard you try. You can't -- and there's nothing wrong with that."Piers: "You're a man used to winning, and you lost Jane. Why would you --"
Ted: "I lost Jane. I lost my job here. I lost my fortune, most of it, I have a billion or two left. You can get by on that if you economize." He laughs. "But I was worth seven or eight billion at one point. But I -- you carry on. And I found other things to do."
