Discussion The 7 stages to a healthy relationship!!!

Hi I found this article it relates to 7 stages of a healthy Relationship.............if you look to the left of the article it shows the stages i found one and two to be quite interesting...............it states that after 2 yrs the reality of your partners flaws start to show ............ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

But the 2 year thing is only the end of infatuation. Then the MLCer has to try and get out of the affair and that can take years more  :-\

Ohhhhhh Yes JA i know that but there were a few newbies asking about how long the infatuation takes so posted the article ........im starting yr 5 in two wks and h is stilllllllllllllll cooking lol xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I've noticed Mr J flaws way before the 2 years mark and he mine. With OW1 things laste 18 minths on the open, OW2 has been on the open for over 4.5 years.

For me there will be no stage 5 of the article (Child Stage). Stage 7 (Older Relationships, the Third Honeymoon, Mature Intimacy) maybe but doubt it will be with Mr J.

In the article they say "A midlife crisis is a normal part of the maturing process.". A midlife crisis is not a normal part of the maturing process, a midlife transition is a normal part of the maturing process.

Midlife Crisis is an anomaly of the maturing process. It is when something (or lots of things go wrong). If it was normal everyone would have one. That is not the case.
