Off-Topic Bucket list ideas
OP: September 26, 2013, 05:51:40 AM
I have heard this term used quite a few times on this forum so I thought we could share some.  I wanted to record my top 5 things too because I keep forgetting them!

In no particular order:

1. Travel by air and have one of those seats the turns into a bed

2.  Ride in a side-car.

3.  Sky dive with D13 (when she turns 18)

4.  Take a helicopter ride over something magnificent

5.  Get a monkey hug.  Preferrably an orangutang in Borneo.  I think they'd give the best hugs!!

I plan to steal ideas from everyone else too so post away..

3. Travel cross country by RV.

Don't ask why someone is still hurting you; ask why you keep letting them. What you allow continues.

At some point you have to get sick of going through the same sh!t.

Women are NOT rehabilitation centers for badly raised men. It is not your job to fix ,parent, raise or change him.
You want a partner not a project.

Well....that's more like a fantasy than anything I have on a REAL list..

I guess I'd like to conquer my somewhat fear of heights.
A hot air balloon ride.
I did go up in a chopper about the size of a volkswagon once over Niagra Falls wow was that something!
I always wanted to sky dive but I'm kinda old to do that now.
I'd like to ride horses again
I want to go tubing again ( only did that once in the winter years ago)
I'd like to slow dance with a man that knows how to
I'd like to go river tubing also
I'd like to have a place of MY OWN that no man can ever kick me out of ever, ever, ever, again!

I'm going to follow this thread and possibly steal some ideas too.  I started my own bucket list early this year and have gradually been working my way through them.

* Visit a beach with black sand
* Swim with dolphins
* Go on a cattle drive - got that booked more next May, learning to ride in the meantime.  It's been a huge boost for my confidence so far
* Fly alone to UK to visit middle DD and expected grandchild, this one might take a while!

It's only for three days, can't afford any more!  It will challenge me on a lot of things though, sleeping in the swag, spade to dig your own loo, no showers!!!!! And three days in the saddle!  I hope to be able to crawl to a shower on day 4!
