1982? Does she have true love now? Her words describing her first husband are "he rescued me from an abusive childhood...." so perhaps both she and her husband needed to GROW UP and perhaps their marriage could have been reimagined, who knows. Her solution was to "run away as fast as I could NOW THAT THE MARRIAGE HAD COMPLETELY ERODED (due to her affair)", as if it was the marriage that made the choice to have an affair.
In further support of leaving her unhappy marriage she cites her own Mother's bitter words after the death of her Father. Not every marriage should be entered into ...or stayed in....or saved.....not every affair is MLC related.....however, this woman's account of her own life is not only dull so far, but she seems to have a very immature idea of what love is all about.
In all fairness, she's simply perpetuating the ideas and justifications that are already out there.
