Thought I would start a Discussion topic since it's been a long while, and after watching an interview with one of the world's top scientists last night I was inspired to look into a subject that intrigues me greatly.  It seems that there has been a great deal of evidence and research done that supports the idea that there are parallel universes that may be infinite in number, with some being only slightly different from our own while some may be drastically different.  String theorists believe that the different universes actually cross over each other from time to time and that objects may travel between dimensions without anyone even being aware.  We apparently do not have the ability to perceive the other dimensions as we are unable to see beyond the 3rd dimension.  Fans of "The Big Bang Theory" TV show have probably heard some of these terms before, but it's amazing to me that this might be a real thing.  Here is a link to an article that explains it pretty well, and it also links to several other interesting articles as well.

Why post this here?  Good question.  As much as we know about MLC, we still don't completely understand the whole thing.  Behaviors such as rewriting history and spontaneously falling out of love with us throw us for a loop and we spend weeks/ months/ years trying to make sense of it all.  It has been said many times that it's as if an alien took over our MLCer's body and like they have become a "doppelganger" of themselves, meaning they have been replaced by an evil duplicate.  What if.....just what if.....they have somehow travelled between dimensions and the person we are perceiving really IS a different person than we are used to?  What if they really HAVE traded places with an almost exact duplicate of themselves whose experiences were different than the spouse we spent years with?  Agreed it's far-fetched and perhaps unlikely, but it's apparently not IMPOSSIBLE.  At least according to many of the top scientists (and presumably smartest people) on the planet.....

And isn't thinking about this more fun than focusing on all the crap our MLCers are doing?  Exactly.

MLC aside, I have long been a fan of this line of thinking, even if just as a meditation of sorts.  Like, if you ever played an instrument long ago and wish to take it up again, but it seems like a huge undertaking, it can be a confidence booster to approach it as though, "If I had never stopped playing, what would I play like now?", instead of "I have to relearn this all over again."  There's so much we're learning now about the depth of existence - it confirms my faith because 'life' just continues to get bigger and more magnificent.  Truly, nothing is impossible! 

Having said that, even though the more I read the more MLC does become a big sci-fi nightmare, I'm not sure I can 100% declare Hoss to be Bizarro H just yet. Still leaning toward chemical imbalance triggering FOO.  But anything is possible...

Parallel universes, possible. All our MLCers had fall into a portal to a parallel universe? Not possible.

You also need to take in consideration that several LBS have had their own crisis and none had fall into a parallel universe.

What I think makes our MLCers go into MLC parallel universe is imbalanced hormones, like excess of stress, plus an emotional trigger of some sort. Those lead to chemical imbalance and several other types of lack of balance.

Sadly, don't think parallel universes is where our MLCers go to... if only...

I buy the parallel universe theories.  It's essentially like tuning in a radio to different stations.  We're tuned to this universe, our doppelgangers are tuned to parallel universes and spirits are in a different dimension yet.  But through meditations it's believed that we can pull ourselves slightly and sense another parallel to gain insightful information.  Some parallels are happening now, others in the past, others in the future and they are infinite in number.

As far as that relating to MLC, probably very little.  Unless, as some theorize, there's bad energy bleeding over from a parallel where a war or tragedy is happening in the same spot and it makes inhabitants of that land feel anxious.  I sense unease on some lands, but have yet to run off with a college girl for that or any other reason.

With free will and our prefrontal cortex we have complete control over what we do despite surmised cosmic influences.  Parallel dimensions, karmic contracts in previous lifetimes that dictate two people will meet in this life (and start a relationship), or just plain hormones are no excuse for people throwing out their common sense and acting like hedonists.
