I offer to you my gratitude. Feel free to join in.
I am grateful for this forum and the sincere, kind and funny folks I´ve met. You have been the silver lining of the most painful life experience and you help to balance out the sorrow that MLC causes.
I am grateful for the unconditional love and cheer from my beloved pooches who have been there for me throughout this ordeal and somehow know when it´s time to actually hug the human.
I am grateful for the life long friends who listened to my sobs and then pitched in when MS took priority over MLC.
I am grateful for having health insurance and a neurologist who listens (most of the time) and actually calls me back- personally.
I am grateful for having a job in which every day is different and I can see dramatic changes (usually for the better) in my students.
I am grateful for the ability to express myself in song in order to release my emotions. I am grateful that my fingers can still play the guitar.
I am grateful for having financial security, a home, heat, and the motivation to research the best possible interventions to postpone/avoid disability. Say hello to the gluten-free, dairy free girl:)
I am grateful for human resilience in the face of adversity.
