I would like to meet up with you. The Poconos is a good choice and I have seen that resort.

Since I live in Colorado, I am always hungry for beach time so anywhere there is a beach...the Carolina's (although it is more difficult to fly into)...I would love Florida so we could be by water.

OK so I have seen people try and arrange meetups here in the US and somehow they fizzle. NYC is great because many LBSers live close by and it's easy to fly into. There have been four meetups in Europe that I attended (Luxembourg, Portugal, Leeds and Ireland) and I cannot stress how much they helped me to heal....I will repeat, there has never been anything like the experience I had when I met fellow LBSers at these metopes.

There was also a small one in NYC a few years ago as well and one recently in Australia.

My suggestion is to fiqure out if people are interested, find a location and pick a date! And then go from there. I would be very happy to help arrange things if you wish willit.

At the risk of repeating myself, honestly, I also have 4 LBSers who live close by and that has been the best therapy that I have ever, ever had...to meet and talk to real people who know what this is like.

the Appalachian Mountains are absolutely GORGEOUS.  East TN/Virginia/NC/SC, somewhere around there.

I agree with the above, and the Poconos. I would love to go to NYC but know I cannot afford it. However these other options would be a LOT less costly. I think many of us are on VERY restricted budgets, so we need to steer away from beaches (which I LOVE) and touristy areas. Any mountains would offer plenty of outdoor options and have the added bonus of not being hot as the blue blazes ;) Just my .02 worth.

Book,

Not sure if you agree with Poconos and can come or not. Would love to meet you! But maybe you and TN can set something up closer to you then that would be more affordable?

If anyone is computer say perhaps a chart could be started that we could add our names to, or like in the case of the Geographical  thread, someone is designated to keep track. I would suggest the following headings:

Name       3 possible available dates  Location Preferences Suggested Resorts or places to stay   Single or shared accommodation

Off season rates might be less expensive in some places and I know from here, Frontier flys to several locations for very reasonable prices.

Sharing accommodation with three or 4 others can make the price quite reasonable.

Willit, I enjoy meeting you and you were spectacular!!!!
