Meet-Up Re: NY/NJ LBS MEETUP?
#70: May 11, 2012, 12:07:49 PM

If there's ever a meetup in New York City, please let me know. Anything in New Jersey is way too far for me, though.

I guess we need to pick you up and drag you there....... :) :) :)

;D NJ isn't even far but, yet, it's a world away from Brooklyn ( in my mind ;) ).

We never married ~ no children ~ two cats ~ Bomb Drop ~ 6/22/09 ~ he left to be w/ the Op & Op's kid
Atomic Bomb Drop ~ 3/22/12 ~ found out they had a child in early February, 2012 ( 2 weeks before my BDay )

In 100 years, none of this will matter but time is still. (( hugs & prayers to all ))

I grew up in Brooklyn and still have family there and they think I live on the moon!! It is just 30 minutes away!! It takes longer for most of them to get to work in the morning, LOL

I was going to suggest a fieldtrip to a chocolate factory in... Brooklyn- it makes fancy pants hand made and handwrapped chocolate bars. Do you know of it?

I grew up in Brooklyn also. My parents are still there and think I live in the wilderness now! Truth is the bridges cost so much now -- it IS easier for Brooklynites to go into Manhattan than NJ.

I'll go to Brooklyn for chocolate! Many of my bank customers live in Brooklyn. They come to the Shore for the summer. They go back and forth all the time. Can't be that hard. :)

K,
You could run away from RL, leave h a cryptic note, say you´ll be back soon- be vague, make a reference to having met someone online, but don´t worry, it´s just a phase and you´ll be back. Sometimes I think they deserve a whopping dose of their own medicine. That aside, it´d be a pleasure to host you, so if you ever do need to run away, know there´s light on for ya.

LOL - you are funny FTT!  That made me laugh out loud. I would love nothing more than to deliver that line to him ...........  ;D I can just imagine the reaction.  One rule for him and another for me it seems, in his mind.

Thanks for leaving a light on  :)

That sounds yummy... That's actually in my neighborhood, too. I can't go this Sunday, though. I'll be volunteering in the gardens again. :D
