I've been listening to a lot of Janis Joplin and Aretha Franklin these days. They really relax me.

Wow that's a hard one...I'm current in love with the album dark eyes by Half Moon Run... The last track 21 gun salute is beautiful....metal and dust by London Grammer is amazing and reminds me of our relationship breakdown :( anything dark, bassy and melancholic...foals are always uplifting...can't beat a bit of black skinheads by kanye :) my goodness anything really...xx

Music is my only sanity xx

From LLL thread

I was thinking today as I was driving home of the changing musical playlist of the last few years....
Taylor swift "last kiss"
Pink "try"
Kelly clarkson "stronger"
Christina aguilera "say something (I'm giving up on you)"

This is an oldie, but an empowering one, "I Will  Survive," by Gloria Gainor!

DMC-

Say something is a real tear jerker.  My H always switches the radio when it comes on.  I can't figure out if that is a 2 year old reaction or 16?  LOL

Pink and John Legend "Don't give up"

Don't give up

Pink feat John Legend - Don't give up lyrics

In this proud land we grew up strong
We were wanted all along
I was taught to fight, taught to win
I never thought I could fail

No fight left or so it seems
I am a man whose dreams have all deserted
I've changed my face, I've changed my name
But no one wants you when you lose

Don't give up
'cos you have friends
Don't give up
You're not beaten yet
Don't give up
I know you can make it good

Though I saw it all around
Never thought I could be affected
Thought that we'd be the last to go
It is so strange the way things turn

Drove the night toward my home
The place that I was born, on the lakeside
As daylight broke, I saw the earth
The trees had burned down to the ground

Don't give up
You still have us
Don't give up
We don't need much of anything
Don't give up
'cause somewhere there's a place

I cant listen to any of those sad ass, lovers lament songs! My D11 gets mad because I wont let her listen to The Pulse on xm radio in the car. Its like say something,  leg her go, and all that crap is on a 15 minute rotation. Pfft!!!

Dont even get me started on those whiny ass country ballad crap the wife listens too, omg!

Ill stay on Liquid Metal thanks!!!!

Alienator: 2; in hindsight; left for me to discover as an exit strategy.
D: 12/16/2014

End State: I'm glad it is over, for several reasons....too many to list here. I am so much better off and, aside from the great kids we have, regret ever marrying her.
