Elray, how is it NOT vile or bigoted to support someone who has so blatantly expressed misogyny (Billy Bush was fired for the same reason), who mocked a physically handicapped reporter (and please Thundarr, don't try to file that under "debunked", we have all seen the clip), who has refused entrance into the country for green cardholders? Not to mention the many many lies.

Did you support bill Clinton knowing what he admitted to doing and what he was accused of doing to women?

If I recall, obamas was quick to apologize for making fun of the special olympics, so I would assume your issue isn't the mocking but the lack of an apology.  He always claimed there was no insult intended, but we've discussed this plenty.

In The 90 day ban, I believe green card holders were inconvenienced less than a day before green card status was clarified but That entire executive action was sloppy.

Thundarr, for the record, I have never suggested anybody be BANNED from the forum.  Not one single person ever.  If you heard differently, then you have been either misinformed or outright LIED to.  Seeing as you seem to believe every word trump says, I guess it would be easy for you to believe I might do something like that.

Quite frankly, I have always been up front and said what I thought directly to the person/s involved.  Most people realize fairly quickly with me, that I am not going to talk behind their backs, if I have a grievance, I say it to them directly.  Believe me, if I had suggested you be banned from the forum, I would have told you personally and why.  I believe, if you don't like what anybody has to say, then stay off their thread.  Maybe that's why you're upset with me, because I very seldom went on your thread and posted next to never.  The few times I went on your thread, was because somebody was suggesting you be banned and I wanted to see if they had a good reason to be suggesting such a thing.  Quite frankly, I never felt you said anything too terribly outrageous and if people didn't like it, they should stay off your thread. We're all adults here, able to choose whose threads we wanted to read or not.  I was quite outspoken about BANNING anybody from the forum, as I truly felt that all LBS's needed a safe place to come.

Believe me or not, up to you.

I believe we have much to fear.  I think trump is poison, his ignorance of the real world is scarily profound.  I think he will destroy your country and probably other countries as well.  I have read quite extensively about Hitler and many people felt the same about him, as you and others feel about trump. There is much in common between these two men, I am sorry that history is probably going to repeat itself.

I was so proud of the United States when you elected a black president.  I truly believed that with such steady, strong leadership the world was going to become a fairer place for everybody.  People of colour, women in general, homosexuals, trans genders, whatever.  I truly believed the world was on it's way to a tolerant, inclusive, equal opportunity conscience and I truly believed the United States of America was leading the way.

I am just so terribly disappointed.

Thank you, Stayed.  Apology accepted (if indeed that's what it was).  In hindsight I do think I had you mixed up with someone else and you probably know who I'm talking about.  So for that mistake on my part, I offer an apology.

Trump clarified today that he was referring to a report about Sweden on Foxnews that I'll link to.  He never actually said there was a terror attack in Sweden but since they were grouped in the sentence with Germany it's easily inferred.

Trump didn't even know the reporter was disabled.  He used the same gesture for years to mock others such as Ted Cruz.  He simply meant whoever he was mocking was either scared or unsure of themselves.  The proof is out there if you take time to look.

Lastly, I think everyone is panicking WAY too soon.  The ER at my local hospital has been slammed with people who think they're going to lose their insurance but no plan proposed does that.  Rand Paul says he is finalizing a plan that will do everything Obamacare did for less cost.  Give it some time, at least a year, to see how things fall and go from there.  Several of us gave our spouses years to find their footing and get their head on straight, so I think we can give him a few more months.  Politics aside, all of us Americans are on the same plane and he's piloting it.  If he fails at his job we ALL lose.

It was I, or at least I was one of those, who thought someone should had been banned, Rugged. He was way past HS guidelines and code of conduct. He end being banned, after a very long time and doing things I am not allowed to talk of.

And I also happen to think you should, if not be banned, at least put on moderated posts. Same for Elray. You both have been disrespectul beyond belief, have not respect HS code of conduct and have been nasty to others.

If it was up to me, after all you have been posting in the Eletion threads, you would be banned. You are a repeated offender, Thundarr. You were crass towards woemn on your threads. Elray has not been much better, but, in his case, may call would be moderated posts.

I hope this leaves things clear. Stayed never wanted you, or anyone, banned. I am less tolerant with intolerance, disrespect towards people, other religions, people of colours, gay people, etc. My tolerance to those matters tends to be zero, and the person doing so would be banned.

There is no tolerance towards intolerance.

However, banning someone does not happen because I think it should happen. Same for posts being put in moderated mode. It happens because RCR and/or OP decided so.

Thundarr,

I agree that knee jerk reaction to current Administration and its actions is not going to be productive. We, as a citizens of this country, however should excercise all legal means available to us to keep our Government accountable. For that we should educate ourselves and keep abreast with events. It is our right and we should exercise it. I also believe it is fruitless to have Trump vs. Clinton comparisons. We now have Trump, and we should accept that fact, and look forward to engage in politics on a very grassroots level, so that Mr. Trump does not relax too much.

"There is no tolerance for intolerance", Anna's?  My BS/ hypocrisy radar is blowing up at that remark.  You only "tolerate" those who agree with you?  Puh-lease!!!

Trump cites (fake) attack in Sweden

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2017/02/19/donald-trump-sweden-attack-carl-bildt/98127056/

I find it kind of funny. The real media Trump calls fake, incorrectly, then the actual fake news he falls for hook line and sinker and his followers listen to him. shame on Trump!
